Breast contouring (mammoplasty)

Breast reshaping (mammoplasty) is a surgical procedure designed to lift and reshape breasts that have lost their firmness and shape as a result of pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations or ageing.

The procedure restores a youthful appearance and symmetry to the breasts and can also be performed in combination with breast enlargement (augmentation) or breast reduction (reduction mammoplasty). We use modern surgical techniques and take an individualised approach, ensuring natural and aesthetically harmonious results.

The procedure is carried out under general anaesthesia. The surgeon repositions the nipple and areola to a higher, more natural position and removes excess skin, thereby restoring a firm shape to the breasts. If necessary, this reshaping can be combined with breast augmentation or reduction.

Types of incisions:

• Periareolar – the least invasive, around the nipple
• Vertical – around the nipple and down to the inframammary fold
• Classic T-incision – the most extensive, for significant sagging

Before the procedure, you must undergo a compulsory pre-operative examination, including an internal and breast examination. You must wait at least 6 months after breastfeeding. Please inform your doctor of any medicines and dietary supplements you are taking.

The procedure is usually followed by a one-day stay in hospital. An elastic bandage is worn for the first 5 days, followed by a firm elastic support bra for 3–4 weeks. We recommend sleeping on your back and avoiding physical exertion.
